IOWA-BRED STAKE RACE NOMINATION FORM
For Iowa-Bred Foals of 2023

Eligibility is limited to Iowa-bred foals registered with the Iowa Department of Agriculture Sponsored By:
Iowa Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Association

This one-time nomination payment provides eligibility for Iowa-bred thoroughbred foals to compete in the following races: Iowa Cradle, Iowa Sorority, Grays Lake, Bob Bryant, Iowa Breeders Derby & Iowa Breeders Oaks, which are the stakes races sponsored by the ITBOA. All nominated horses are subject to starting & entry fees set by the racetrack.

Nomination Schedule:

December 2, 2024 – $200.00 (ITBOA Members)  $300 (non-members)
Late entries by March 1, 2025 – $500.00
Late entries if BOUGHT in 2 yo in training sale. Due 10 days after buying – $1,500.00
Supplemental Nomination at Time of Entry – $15,000.00 Per Race

These nominations & all stake races are subject to the rules & regulations of the Iowa Racing & Gaming Commission. The Racing Secretary & the ITBOA reserve the right to split or combine races. In the event that these stake races cannot be held at Prairie Meadows Race Track & Casino, the Association board members may at their discretion hold these races at another race track or refund nominations. The decisions of the track officials shall be final in all matters. Weights & conditions shall be determined by the Racing Secretary. Starters to be named through the entry box at the normal closing time of entries set by the Racing Secretary.

Nominations must be postmarked on or before the due date. No Refunds or substitutions. Any returned checks will void nominations.
